Looks like the Slash vs. DT thread may have died; which may be just as well. The "x" vs "y" thing seems to eventually go the wrong way.

What I think I learned from that was.... I want an E Firestorm

Or you could make the wise choice and get a Losi XXX-T.

Now explain to all of us, why you decided to get the E-Firestorm over the Slash and DT?

I would get a E-Firestorm over a XXX-T any day.

You know, the more I think about it, and the more I read about it. I think I may just sell my DT and get the E-Firestorm. I keep hearing nothing but good things about it. HMMMM I wonder how much I could get for my VXL Desert Truck.

T9Dragon: my "Why"

It is always a challenge to filter out the "personal preference" aspects of why people make their selections. I know the first cars I bought, a Midnight Pumpkin and Mini Baja, worked so good I could not imagine anything else being better. But some exposure to other vehicles changed my opinion. Not that either of those are bad, I still like them for what they are.

Why E-Firestorm? It appears to be slightly more skewed to higher quality and durability, while not going so far as to run the cost up. If I just wanted the FASTEST, or the HIGHEST QUALITY, I would definitely select a different vehicle. This one is just nudging over to that side a bit, but without going so far as to be too expensive or too extreme.

Another thing I check on is availability of parts and upgrades. I think Losi and Traxxas has actually got the Firestorm beat; but not so much that it is a disqualifier

I now have a Rustler VXL and I also like it a lot. What I am wanting is something that can keep up with it but is different.

Regards
