Status: offline 		OK, I have made up a set of Robbins skids for one of my v3's that are nearly indestructible by simply attaching a length of CG rod along the horizontal portion of the landing gear. While the skids can be measurably toughened up, the wussy little scrawny battery holder anemic plastic loops are the weak link in the v3 landing gear in any configuration.

By trimming off the landing gear and sissy loop remanents of a well trashed set of v3 landing gear, I retained the landing gear frame having the 4-in-one holder on it, and attached a better set of skids. Granted they're NOT SuperSkids, but factory skids from a Belt CP that were replaced by a set of SuperSkids . With minor work & longer screws, they bolt right up. For mounting the battery, I installed a thin sheet of polyethylene between the frame & skids. A piece of velcro was added, and the battery holder was flipped upside down & velcro added to what is now the top (former bottom).

If you already have some SuperSkids looking for a home, notice the long slot across the middle of the landing gear - the ends of this slot line up perfectly to screw onto the v3 frame. If you want to order a set of SuperSkids specifically for your v3, use the 3D variety that comes with shorter length skids.

These skids up will be the last ever needed for this particular v3. I'm still running it with the factory motors & it performs just fine.
