I have a belt cp as many of you know and I am still thinking I have a problem. The forward and aft control, or up and down on the right thumb stick are very weak. When the heli is sitting on the ground and i push the right thumb stick left or right the chnage in the blades and paddles is very obvious but when I push it up or down the change is very minute. It makes m think that my servo is bad or something. The left and right on te left thumb stick moves the tail ALOT, it just seems to me that the up and down on the right stick are not as sensitive as the other controls but since I can't get the heli to hover due to my lack of skill as of now I can't tell if it is effecting the heli. Also when I give it throttle, before it lifts off the swash plate moves down on the front. The more throttle it gets the more te swash plate leans forward. Is that normal? Or do I need to do something to it. I need you guys to help me trim it out I think. I'm pretty lost right now.

sounds like the elevator servo might be screwed, either stripped or motor dead. to test it replace it with the tail servo and see if it works better.

The tail servo that came on my King 2 had a different gear ratio. I took the servo apart after it failed and noticed that it had a different main top gear(like the digital type). It also had a super short wiring harness and would not make the stretch to the receiver. My LHS dude told me that the tail servos are purposely like this to allow for more torque/control. I have no idea if every King 2 was shipped like this but make sure it is the same before you try it on the cyclic...If it is different, you will have undesired control.

sounds like bung servos or servo to me, i suggest some newies. The esky servos are good as long as ur still in control of the heli but if u loose control for a second and need to correct suddenly the esky servos dont do their job very well. I just bought 3 tower pro sg90 servos and they are fantastic and very cheap aswell. if you have the money look around at hitec servos with metal gears but i suggest the tower pro, they have plenty of grunt and very fast for the price!

Jimmy...I too am going with the Tower Pro SG-90's all around. They have stronger nylon gears in them and my LHS heli dude said he runs them in his Trex and never ever stripped or broke one in a crash. Cnchelicpter(dot com) where I got my CNC head has them for 4 for $24.99...I use one on the tail as well with pretty good success.

They also have the metal gear TowerPro's for $13.99....Never used them though, I figured I need something slightly weak in the chain of parts that is inexpensive to take the blunt of a crash....Don't know what will start breaking if I have metal gears...

Peace,

Z
