Do a search at AMA for Clubs in the Maryland area. Shoot them an e-mail to see if they do Jets. I believe Prince George's Radio Control Club (PGRCC) does Jets since they have a paved runaway. PGRCC is in Upper Marlboro, MD, if I'm not mistaken.

Henk,

When I was recently in Washington DC, well actually near Shady Grove to the north of Washington DC, I was shown the District of Columbia RC site (Walt Good field) which is not too far from Rockville. Apparently jets are flown there and they have an asphalt strip and all the facilities you could wish for, but when I was there no flying was taking place . Have a look at their web site which has the location. If only it was in the UK!

DC-RC.org will be a better site than my field (PGRC) while we do have a paved runway I can't think of more than one member with a jet and i can seem to catch him there. If I recall right Wed night is jet night or day.

Get in touch with Andy Kane (COMP-ARF) rep he lives in the area and always has been great to talk to when he comes to our field for events. I "think" he is near that area.

Last time I saw his trailer it had a few Jets ready to go.

Did I say he was a heck of a nice guy?

What he said .. about our field (DCRC Walt Good field) and Andy :-)

Lots of jet flyers at DCRC .. weekends and Wed evenings. Check out the webiste and look at some of the recent newsletters.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Henk,
Too bad you can't make the Liberty Bell, it is about 100 miles from Rockville (2 Hours), it would be worth the visit

p.s. if you have a GPS punch in 40.08730N; 76.57982W to get you to the entrance of the airport
