Status: offline 		iv been running under 198 and deided to go up to 210 to 213 whats a good temp to run these things at? (its in my evader st)

If it runs ok at that temp, don't even touch it. You can run it at up to like 270 but it will not last near as long. Think of it this way, the further you screw the needle in, the more $$$. My xxx-nt runs great at 190-200 si I'm going to leave it there. Will It be faster at 270? yes. Do I have the money for a new motor anytime soon? No. Remember. Screw it in, more performance and more money. Screw it out, less performance but a longer lived engine.

Status: offline 		their is only one temp you can run at that is right, just because a dtx.18 runs at one temp does not mean the next one will. i will say running a cooler engine is not a way of saving cash. you need find the best temp for your engine and run that. i have a tz .12 in my race rig some guys run 250 some run 220 i run around 230, that is the sweet spot for my motor. the lower the temp kills it the higher the temp kills it, but for this motor or only my motor that is the good spot. i have lots of smoke peak power,it loves to ideal at 225 and peaks at racing at 260 but it really runs the best at 230(lol it always gets hot during a race).i do not know why or care but every motor has their own feel and temp. go with that and your engine will last a long time. i have friends that idle their tz at 260 or even 220 but that is the best spot for that engine. so look at the settings for your motor do what they say and then ajust for power and idle from their.

Status: offline 		yea i got it to 215 and that is a sweet spot that just boosts with power smoke and the whole nine yards so thanks
