Status: offline 		i just got back from my lhs and the traxxas fuels now at 44.75$ a gallon for 20% nitro so i grabed what was left on the shelf for 22.50$ and left now i got like 4 gallons of gas and thay dont make 33% nitro anymore cuz the price of gas. the guy at the hobby store told me it went up cuz we get it all from china and thay closed down mostly all thair factorys so that it wont polote the air for the olimpacs so thair are some factories open but all the gas thay make thair goes to all the drag racers and what eve is left over we (us hobby people)get it.now do you belive it or do you think the guy at the hobby store is bsing me??? i belive him.

now idk about you guys and if that is like that at your lhs but i cant belive it

Status: offline 		There is a thread going into a LOT more detail on the topic in the HPI MT forum. There are a lot of unconfirmed claims about this, but similarly to your situation, my LHS is having a shortage as well with crazy price spikes. Tom.

Status: offline 		It sounds exactly what I have been hearing and have read. I stocked up fuel almost a month ago to make sure I would be set for the summer. I got 30% and 20% at the $22 gallon prise.

Status: offline 		i think i still have every one beat on the fuel price! i pay $110 or so for a gal. on novarossi 25% but i also live in italy but i would enjoy only having to pay 40 bucks a gallon. i only got 2 more months of that and i will be back in the usa! i cant wait no more waiting for parts and high fuel costs.

Status: online 		Ive been hearing the same thing about fuel at my lhs here, because of all thats going on with the price increases for shipping, etc etc...I mean I was told by the r/c dept manager of one of the lhs that I goto, that glow plugs went up 1.00 in price(I know that does not sound like a lot, but every little bit counts) so Im kinda the same predicament as a lot of other people here are...

Status: offline 		Nitro prices have been so close to the same for the past 10 years, i don't have a problem with the price of fuel now.

$22 in 1997, $26 in 2007...what's the difference, really?

Only problem *I* have is that 30% is unavailable

I don't think so, I think it MIGHT affect some, if not most of the other brands as well. Just not sure how much of an increase(if any at all) the other brands have seen....

Status: offline 		last month i bought 4 gallons of byrons gen2 20% at $25.99.. i was back there yesterday and it is $34.99 a gallon. he said he didnt hear anything about it coming back down even after the olympics!! so stock up now.. it might go higher!! jake.
