I have a Blade CP and I would like to know what all the trim switches are for on the transmitter.
I know the trim switch to the left of the main rotor lever is for the tail rotor but I am lost on the rest anyone have a diagram or something.

The one to the right of the left stick is for throttle. The higher it is the more throttle you will have.

The one to the left of the right stick is for the elevator. That controls the foward and backward motion. The farther foward the more the helicopter will pitch foward and opposite for down on the trim.

The one below the right stick is for aileron. That controls the left and right tilt of the helicopter. Left on the trim will make the helicopter lean more to the left and opposite for right trim.

The goal for setting up a helicopter is to have all of those trims centered and have the helicopter want to hover hands off.

Hope that helped. There should be something in the manual explaining this better with pictures.

Nick

Thanks there is realy not much in the manual that realy breaks it down. So mainly these switches just stay in the middle position except for the one on on the right side of the left stick that basicaly controls the tail rotor and should be turned all the way down when you turn down the throttle.

Your welcome. The way I think about the trims is when I move the left stick left and right that is the rudder. And the trim on that side that moves left and right then controls the rudder. Then when I move the left stick up and down that is the throttle. And the trim on that side that moves up and down controls the throttle. Then the same concept for the right stick.

In a perfect situation the trims should be in the center except the throttle trim so the ESC can arm. Then you can move it up to make the rotors spin faster. But I am too lazy to use the proportional potentiometer sometimes so I just use the rudder trim to make it right. Then if the swashplate isn't level the easy way would be to use the aileron and elevator trims. But that is not a good habbit to get in. You should adjust the links on the outside of the swashplate if it isn't level.
