We are holding a meet on Sept 5,6 and 7. We will have two tracks. Long track is an official IMPBA course. The second ( 150 feet )short track will be in the middle of the long track. The pond has an elevated drivers stand, jon boat, restroom and a gas grill.

This meet is going to be a relaxed. We will have formal and informal racing with other nontraditional events. http://piperchuck.dyndns.org/ptpt/directions.html More info to follow.

Certainly. The RCAA takes their hobby seriously. We have people coming from Ohio, Wisconsin, plus 4 boaters from Florida are making the trip, no telling who else will be showing up.

If you get the opportunity, check us out. We would love to have you there. We are currently holding one annual meet a year, hoping to have 2 per year very soon.

No need to be a member of the RCAA to participate, besides, the RCAA is a non-profit association. No dues to pay, just bring the enthusiasm you have for your hobby and your in. You do need to be a member of the RCAA to hold speed records.

Members host events in their location, we will be planning the '09 event very soon.

Hope you get a chance to make it to an RCAA event.....they are loads of FUUUUNNNNNN!!

I agree, a Midwest meet would be alright. Over here in LaCrosse we have a Lagoon that water prop guys used to race on. They'd hold Finals here for IMBPA (do I have that right ? )

Tempting.... If I didn't have like 7000 other things going on..... and an airboat that worked. Then I would be in for sure.

ANY OTHER MIDWESTERNERS out there that might come ?
