Ok. I have loved this motor since I got it last year. Only put about 1 gallon thrugh it so far and now it has started to stall. I have tried increasing the RPM idle and have rechecked the needle settings. The thing I have noticed is that there is a fine line between rich and over lean. When it appears to be running nice the temps are about 200 - 220 but it's a bit boggy and it stalls occasionally. (stalling I mean not lean stalling but it just stops) then I try and lean it out just an 16th if a turn and bam over 300 degrees and over lean.

Anyone have this problem or know why it's happening.

Thanks

Very likely, the piston/cylinder fit is starting to wear out. That means that the engine is losing compression...the cylinder expands away from the piston when the engine warms up and you lose compression...the engine quits. The "cure" is to replace the piston/liner assembly. This is common with R/C car engines because they are run very hard and subject to dirt ingestion as well as overheating. Excess wear happens when low-oil "R/C Car" fuels are used as well as setting the needles to achieve specific temperatures.
