Scott,
Let me say first of all I don't have any gas engines of any kind, but I do know how you feel somewhat. I have had diabetes since the 7th grade. And having been out of school for 19 years now (wow 19 years) bad blood sugars have really affected my eyes. Staying in contact with a good opthamologist is a must. Watch out for your eyes. When you lose part of your vision it never comes back. And laser surgery to keep from losing your eye sight is not the same as the corrective type. Its like getting hit in the eye with a baseball bat repeatedly by Hank Aaron.
I have also recently lost a family member (my grandmother). Not hard enough to lose your family member, but I was also in charge of funeral arrangements (not as a family member, but as a funeral director). Kinda tough keeping your family happy (everything has to be perfect).
Said all that to say please take care of your health and don't over do it at the shop ( lack of rest is almost as bad as bad blood sugars). I truely hope things will turn around for you for the rest of the year.
Do you know that I woke up early this morning and realized I fogot to send my condolences on the loss of your loved one. So I will now. I am sorry to hear about your loss.
Alan

Well, I hope Scott is feeling better. Has anyone received anything from him lately? Anyone receive an engine? Anyone have their email returned, or their phone call answered? I don't want to sound pessimistic, but I still haven't had any reply to my phone calls, or emails. I asked for a refund on my 46GT several days ago, and haven't heard anything. I'm sure he is a nice guy and all, but he has 425.00 bucks of mine, and seems to be ignoring me. Why shouldn't I be concerned? I've been waiting 6 weeks- I either want to see an engine, or I'd like my money back so I can buy another engine.

I got my refund from Scott last week and both my emails about the refund were replied too the very next day. It took a little over a week for him to get the refund handled.

I’ve got an email from Scott last Tuesday (7/8) apologizing for the delay of my 46GT order. He had mentioned that IE parts are arriving Friday (7/11) and should have my engine ship by Monday (7/14). I’m still haven’t receive any email notifying me that my order has been shipped. I’ve placed my order in early March and been patiently waiting for it. I myself was also debating to ask for a refund… but since I’ve been waiting for over 5 months now… a few more should not make any difference.

No doubt, Scott is the man. I thoroughly enjoy my Brillelli engines and would/will buy another one in a heart beat.

Having diabetes myself, I can appreciate your situation. It is not a picnic, that's for sure.

My condolences for the loss of your mother. BTDT too.

I got a shipping confermation 4 weeks ago and still no package yet. The USPS tracking info says electronic notice sent, if that means anything.

The USPS only uses these receipts to track lost packages. It may or may not mean anything was actually mailed. That's why I try to only use UPS or FedEx.

On the 26SSR thread there was a post that said that Scott was no longer around. I am trying to find out what was meant by that.

If Scott is going to pack it in he probably doesn't have the cash to refund the amounts that buyers have paid in advance. At $350 per engine he is going to have to come up with thousands to pay us all back.

Scary thought.

I have ordered an Extreme Flight 74” Yak54 / Brillelli 46GT engine combo way back in early March… I received the plane but still waiting on the engine and accessories that should have came with the combo. I got an email from Scott, apologizing for the delay and should have it send out by the end of the week… that was a month (7/15) ago. Now this would explain why I haven't got it... I guess that I’m out $400. If he had just explained his circumstances... I would understand and would have told him to keep it, if it would help out on his situation. I just don't like to be kept in the dark.
