You can also check with the American Model Yacht Association (AMYA) for clubs or active fleets in your area.

I know of a couple of guys in western PA and I'm sure there are more, though the4re aren't any clubs in our neighborhood.

I have sailed with the guys in State College great group. I'm not sure I'd want to sail Nirvana against EC-12s in a race, but any day of sailing with a group is worthwhile!
