i need some help, i have a wireless home network, and 3 computers are connected to it, only 2 of the 3 conected computers will acess the internet. the one that has the wirless b laptop adapter and the one connected to the router will acess the network just fine. the last computer is a desctop with a wirless g adapter when it connects to the network it gets a notification that the network you have connected to has limited or no connectivity. cand any one help me please?




btw the wirless router is a linksys wrt54g

That is a really annoying problem and my labtop used to do it all the time. Just search google for limtited or no connedtvity. There is a lot of solutions and you just ahve to start trying them all till something works...

On the one that's not working, I bet it has a static IP Address. Go to a WORKING computer. Hit Start, then 'run'. Type 'cmd', press enter. Now in the DOS window, type 'IPCONFIG'. Make a screenshot. Now go to the non-working computer, repeat the process. Post both screenshots, and I'll tell you what you need to do.

It may want you to manually input the IP address, you may be able to set it to automatically acquire it but it depends on your system.

upps, i did the one that is connected with the wired connection, that was the first one. it will be a little bit, then ill get the one that has a succsesfull connection
