Status: offline 		okay sweet. any ideas on how to get rid of some of the rust I have now? I accumulates from my aircompressor..it's so humid here that it sprays out water. and last night didn't help the fact.

Status: offline 		umm maybe take VERY fine sandpaper or steel wool to the parts and scrape it off... for the bolts its pretty much to late.... maybe soak them in WD-40 for a couple days but i dont think it will help...

steel wool will help the cvds for the bolts, I'm not too sure about the bolts. You should buy a water trap for you air compressor. That will prevent water droplets from coming out of the hose/nozzle when in use.

Status: offline 		Oh. I never knew there was anything I could buy for the water. I was actually thinking on bring my compressor inside the house where it's A/C. That should limit the water emissions.

Status: offline 		The cooler temps will helps with some of the condensation. What kind of air compressor do you have? Most air compressors have a drain plug at the bottom of the tank so that you can drain any water/condesation from the tank.

If you use an oil free compressor you can purchase some thing like this:

If you use an air compressor which needs oil then you can use something like this one.

The water traps are a necessity if you are going to paint. Shop around you may be able to find then cheaper.

Status: offline 		I use an air dryer like the one a paint shop would use ... or you can go to napa(or auto paint suppy store)and get a toilet paper roll(usually black or orange smaller than a fist type of ball)and put it on between the hose and the blower nozzle itself ... wd40 the heck out of everthing then wipe down nicely ... my buggys like to hang out right beside me and my recliner with air conditioner to keep comfortable and avoid the humidity seriously they do . . .

Status: offline 		as posted above, use a water trap. they are a necessity for compressors especially if you are airbrushing.

Status: offline 		Yeah i don't do any painting. My air compressor is about 25 years old. It's my father's. It works like a charm though. Doesn't have one of those stupid tanks. It just flat out turns on and pumps out 100psi constant. But i appreciate the input guys!
