Status: offline 		I'm looking at the possibility of getting a job in Smithfield. Just wanted to know a little about the area and what type of R/C Flying Clubs are around there? I have notice that housing prices there are double what they are where I live.

Status: offline 		Smithfield is a very pretty area. Nice countryside and farmland everywhere, However the pork proccessing plant can get a little aromatic now and then (World class Ham). This link http://newportnewsrc.org/ will help you in your search . Their field is about 10 or 15 miles (maybe more or less, not totally sure) away via the James River bridge. Also you can call Stream Hobby Shop at 757-591-0720. They would have all the information you need as well. Seems I passed another RC field in that area several years ago but I can't remeber where it was exactly. Good luck
