Just tried to set up my new Futaba transmitter for my HBK2.However the swashplate seems not to be working right if compared to my other HBK2 with the stock transmitter.

I have set all the servo directions correct. My problem is that, when I push the throttle up, the swashplate does not move up.It tilted to the left (view from the heli tail) when set as 1-S.When set as 3-S the swashplate is also not moving up if I push the throttle up.

All advice appreciated. Also greatly appreciated if anybody have the full setting for that trasnmitter.

Thanks

for a start it has to be set to 3s. I dont have a futaba but you do have a 3s swashplate. Which direction does it move?

I know that This page is not for your radio but I posted my values for the DX6i here. You can try and go over them and cross reference them...I am not familiar with the 1S-3S setting but you need to choose the setting that tells the radio that you are running a 120 degree swash. Helifreak has tons of killer videos too, i would imagine they would have a Futaba radio vid somewhere....

I had the same problem that you are decribing or at least something just like it. I had to set the pitch setting to a negitave number and then all was good. If you contact me directly (jstern429@comcast.net) I have a pdf file I can send you that has all the setting's I used. It may get you in the ball park to get the bird back in the air. I am sure that you will need to tweek it to your own liking, but it helped me a lot when I got started with the same radio. Jeff
