Status: offline 		Nope, you get it of steampowered.com - its only $20 with counterstrike source. Brilliant game, its a mega sandbox... but anything you want. weld things, add hydrolics... pretty much anything.

gmod 9 is free, but you need css aka counter strike source.

my steam handle is pythonfan

i have done alot, i just got done today building a rock crawler, a wheelie cart thing, monster trucks, and rocking fire works.

Status: offline 		You dont NEED css. You just need a source game, like HL2 deathmatch, you wont had access to the maps and css weapons though.

You should just get HL2 though, cause its pretty pointless to play gmod of you have never played half life 2.

A couple freinds and I have gmod 9 and sometimes I run a dedicated server on one of my machines. usually we make cannons.

Status: offline 		Wrong. You do not need HL2. I have played it off HL2;DM before. you just need to mess with the applaunch and gamemount.

Often times it just doesn't quite have the building pieces I need.
Also anyone know how to get DoD:Source weapons to work in it? That would be awesome. I have the game installed, I just need a way to get the weapons in to be usable. Now I just have them available as props only. It would be awesome to go combine/zombie hunting with a Garand or better yet an MG34
