My new Tower Pro SG-90's did not allow for enough room for Z-bends on the elevator and pitch servo. I ended up doing a metal ball/Link conversion so I guess I am better off anyway...Sucks I had to buy the more expensive pieces because they didn't have the correct ones in stock. Oh well, my machine is flying great. I am thinking though , that the Tower Pro on the tail is not doing the best job in holding the tail. I may have to try that 3114 or something else? I am having tail wagging problems despite the fact that I have turned the Gain down from 80(80 worked great with the Esky servo) to 68 on my DX6i. I am slowly seeing the wag disappear but the tail holding power is getting real sloppy. I am having to really pay attention to the tail....Oh yah, I would just switch back to a stock servo since i have 3 that came off the cyclic, but thanks to DumbDawg, I am building a swash-bot for the kids and they have been confiscated...

Gonna be in Cal-Hob this weekend flier? I brought my bird in there yesterday. Paul and Bob had fun scratching their head over all the crap i have done to my King...And continue to do to it...I probably could have bought a nice new 450 but I am having too much fun....

Peace pilots!

Z

Zimatosa, I guess we all were attracted to the HBK2 because of price. I think it was on the Radd's School of Flight that pilots were told to forget all the upgrading and spend time learning to fly. It's excellent advice, but who can resist the temptation to make it stronger, faster, sexier, etc.
If we would have escrowed our upgrade money, we probably all could have had a nice 450. What the hell, we learned alot along the way............
