Hey there.

I want to replace the piston and sleeve in my OS Speed 21VZ-B V-SPEC AL (black head). What do i need to look out for? Do I need any special tools? What problems may arise?

Or do you have a link to a site that has step by step instructions (possibly with pictures)? Any advice, as usual, is highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Grey - Last time you told me that you have above a gallon on it..How did it die so fast? Go to the below mentioned link.

It has more than a gallon in it now and still has some pinch in it mate, I just want it to be perfect. Right now the MP7.5 with the Blue head OS V-SPEC rips the Black Head OS V-SPEC which is in the Hyper 8.5 Pro Kit. I want the black head perfect so i can set the Hyper up for racing and then compare the two cars as best i can.

If the Blue head still rips the black head, then i can move to the clutch, pipe and other factors. Also, the black head was broken in the "old fashioned" way, while the blue head was broken in with the heat cycle method. At the moment, both engines have about the same amount of fuel through them, but there's more pinch in the blue head.

BTW...thanks for the link.
