i was reading this:

1 .well there is no room , the retract is as far forward as possible , the wheel touches allready the servo bay therfore you must get a offset.
that is why we supply for free the "raisers"..
2 .steering rods , there is not sufficient place to use the steering rod to collapse all the way down.
3. boomerangs Hate to take off in a negative angle of attack , i flew all of them.
4 . we designed it so that both the front and the main oleo,s can be swapped for even the 40LBS oleo,s.
wich for the USA market (Smoke tank-1 gallon fuel - P120se-titan) will like.
our special made Kingcat oleo,s will fit the Sprint also .

My club mate found these people that make sheets that you put into your printer (either get the inkjet or laser ones to suit your printer), then make your own decals.
he has used this and made some nice decals of our club badge.

Status: offline 		Yes, that is our same 125 ounce (3.7 Litres) custom made Sullivan fuel tank as used in the Sprint, the Elan and also fits the XL with a tiny modification to a former.

Gives you the option to have any flight time from 5 minutes up to over 15 minutes. Just fill to the level you want.

Any chance you will sell the sprint in a kit version for those of us who like to build. I get a lot of enjoyment from building and would love to build one from a kit and since it’s a balsa and ply plane with a little bit of fiberglass seems it would lend itself to kit form rather easily but I don’t know the logistics or costs associated in gathering all the pcs together and putting it in a kit. I plan on purchasing a arf from Patricia some time in the near future but I sure would like a kit version also. Food for thought.

Status: offline 		Done a bit more in the past few days. The MASSIVE intakes are in and the model is now on its wheels. Just waiting for some bits and pieces to finally finish of the model. Fitting the retracts were quite easy, no major modification required.

76mm
Nose wheel strut on the standard oleo 63mm (you can inflate the original tyre from 57 to 63mm)
on "the luxe" front oleo (optional) you can use a 76mm tyre.
BUT it wont fit the wheel well , ideal would be 63 front and 74 on the mains
i promisse you one can take of from a potato field...

I think Sandor must work superfast.

The airframe is quick, probably 10 hours, but the installation of radio, turbine and retracts, etc. should be done at your own pace, with care, to avoid later problems and re-fitting.

For a moderate builder, allow another 10 hours or more for that side of the build.

I certainly couldn't get one out of the box and be ready to fly in 10 hours and I designed it!! One days build?????

In any case, the build is part of the experience of modelling. It is enjoyable in it's own right.

So enjoy it!!

i guess if you do it right at once , you dont need another 2 days to fix it.

it takes me 2 days at my office , wich i do all orders also on those 2 days.

the airframe incl servo,s is assembled in about 3 hours max.
retracts 2 hours max.
the rest is turbine installation.
most work is CG , Deflections , Programming
and making the system bubblefree and testing it.

Elan toulk me also same time...

most time is the delivery it takes to get something.
it takes me a cartidge of Hysol to stenghten some critical points and aluminium pins that fall out here and there.
reglue the Servotray and tank tray.

but they always fly ok...
as you know we test all our gears with your airframes , Before we start selling them.

Back to the actual build, the model is almost 99% complete now! Just a few minors bits to do, and Alan picked it up earlier today.

I will be on holiday for a week, but I suspect Alan will be on here soon with pictures of the final model!
