Status: offline 		OK - I bid, paid for & received the item (VERY QUICKLY!!). Now I try to pass the good word about my seller?? Read the FAQs, watched the videos. Read the "Ratings instructions about 10 times. Seller reported item sold - thread closed - Got the PIX?
So where in the heck is that darned STAR?
Tried rating by item number & the genius program said I hadn't participated? - Funny - looks just like what I bought sitting right here on my desk!
Somebody help an OLD MAN!

Status: online 		What is the ad# you are trying to rate? Until the sell marks your offer as Accepted, the system does not have a record of a completed transaction. And, a completed transaction must be in the system before you can post or receive a rating.

Status: offline 		Ad was for item # 409819, which, as I indicated, is sitting on my desk as I type .
So, I can't rate him until he "accepts the offer" - even if he did - and I have it?
OK - must make sense to somebody!!

Status: online 		Correct. Until the seller accepts your offer ( so that the site knows he actually sold the item to you ) you cannot post a rating.

I have gone ahead and marked your offer as accepted so you and he can trade feedback. This is something the seller should have done prior to you sending him payment. In fact, you should always require the seller mark your offer as accepted and use the site to send you an invoice so we have full record of the transaction in the rare event there is a problem.
