Just got my Belt CP last night. Chraged the battery (3 hours) then went to mount into the heli and ??????

The directions are not very clear. They say use attached cord(long cord with velcro) but no matter how tight I make it the battery can just slide out. Are you supposed to mount the velcro cord to the frame?

I feel like such an idiot but I can not figure it out.

I used two 3/4" wide velcro straps and that worked good. I have tried to use velcro on the battery and frame, but my battery was too big and the main gear was eating away at the shrink wrap on the battery.

How exactly did you mount the 3/4" straps ? Mine has eaten away quite a bit of the shrink wrap on my 2100 mah battery...

I had one behind the elevator servo back as far as it could go. Then one in front/under the elevator servo. They were pretty much touching each other and covered most of the foward part of the battery tray. And I tightend them as much as I could.
