I recently acquired a World Models GS Spitfire, maybe an early ARF kit. It's unassembled and came without a manual. I managed to determinet it is World Models and downloaded a manual. Everything seems to be in the box except the retracts. A couple of guys have the H9 P-47 with mechanical retracts that seem to work well. At $80 a set (not including two retract servos) this looks a lot better than spending a couple of big bills for Robart, but I don't know if they will fit. Anyone tried to use H9 retracts in a World Models plane, maybe the Zero? BTW, another guy at the field had the same Spit and used spring air retracts but had lots of problems with it nosing over while taxi. He put on smaller wheels and shimmed the rear of the retract to try and get the wheels out in front of the leading edge. I didn't really like the way it looked but it seemed to work, until it went in due to the ground encroaching suddenly.

Thanks.
