You don't need a line to the muffler. The carb has a diaphragm pump that pulls gas from the tank, and also prevents backflow.
You need a clunk line from tank to carb. You can put a "T" fitting in the line to fill and empty the tank, just make sure it has a firm plug. You also need a vent line, just run it from the tank to underneath the plane. If you don't want to "T" the feed line, you can run a 3rd line, also with a clunk, to fill and empty the tank. It also has to be capped or plugged during engine operation.

Did you buy this engine new? It should have a choke. The engines come with a small velocity stack, and a second carb isolator block that turns the carb 90 degrees so the throttle arm can be moved to a different spot. The isolator block is the thing that fits between the carb and cylinder, prevents heat transfer from engine to carb. It has small ports that channel pressure pulses to the carb diaphragm from the crankcase.

Post some pics.

Stick your finger over the velocity stack for priming. That will act as a choke.

one line from tank to carb, one cut in same ; insert a piece of brass tubing. Simple another fellow has posted some nice pics of his planes using this; this is just a q&d drawing.

Loop your vent line around the tank to allow it to be an anti siphon and keep things cleaner on the outside downwind of vent line.

The choke is missing in your engine. The former shaft hole is visible on the side of the carb with the throttle arm, near the intake.

If you won't be close cowling this engine, choking with a thumb will work well (assuming the old choke shaft hole has been plugged - if it's open, choking may be a challenge). If it will be cowled, and thus difficult to reach, consider purchasing a replacement choke shaft, butterfly, and retaining screw from a local small engine shop. Bring the engine with you so they can be sure to get you all the bits you need, and the right ones at that.

I got the PM, JBurry is correct, the choke is gone. You can live without it, as long as you can block the intake with your hand, but it would be a ton easier to get a choke from Zenoah. You can order the part from Horizon or Chief Aircraft.

There are several small parts to order. According to the Zenoah parts list, you'll need:
1-Ball, pt# 3350-81220
2-spring, pt# 3350-81220
3-choke shaft, pt#T2070-81460
4-choke valve, pt#T2075-81450
5-screw, pt# 2880-81470

Sounds like a lot, but they're all small parts. A lawn and garden center that services small engines might also have parts that will work. Walbro carbs are used on most weedeaters, chainsaws, etc.

I`m operating a similar G-26 in my CMP AT-6. It was new when I installed it. I made a point of removing the choke butterfly and associated bits, same as I have done on my Homelite conversions.

I plugged the choke holes with JB Weld and installed and a custom-made velocity stack made from 3/4" Al. tube fitted to an oval base cut from 1/8" ali. plate - also glued together with JB weld. The end of the velocity stack is cut flush with the outside line of the cowling and readily accessible to choke by hand.

My standard Sullivan starter readily turns it over fast enough for quick and easy starting. I`m using a Master 18 x 8 cut down to 17" and it all works fine for me.

A good choice of engine for a first foray into gassers......
