I currently fly electric heli's and am considering a Raptor 50 V2 based on a buddies recommendation.
I have nothing that is nitro related in my heli hobby.

I was wondering how much a decent setup would cost plus any necessary spar parts. I assume my tools will work.
I do have a charger for the reciever pack that I will need on the 50, but that is it.

Please note that I eventually want to do basic 3D (nothing hard) and am running the DX7 for all my helis.

Status: offline 		take a look at www.heliproz.com ...the big sky combo is $1,199.99 (i hate when they do that)...that's about the right price for a good rtf titan or 50v2, if you have your own xmtr and rx...tt parts are relatively inexpensive...they sell a crash kit, but i'd buy whatever i broke...i guess you could borrow your buddy's starter and ignitor...just mho...ken

Status: offline 		I bought a raptor50 V2about 2 months ago. i started from nothing and the final coast was 1100$ used. raptor with metal head, hyper 50, c/f blades, LI-On battery and voltage reg. JR xp8103, starting equipment, real flight g3.5, break down:

R50-$650
Xp8103-$130 with metal case and receiver (ebay)
starting equip-$100 Towerhobbies
realflight-80$ ebay
Misc tools-150

has for spare parts heliproz is who gets my money..

Status: offline 		I got my v2 from the classified's here everything except tx and rx for $500. It was in like new condition. You can find good deals used if you look.
