hi everyone I am thinking about getting into nitro and wondering which of these 3 trucks would be best for me. HPI Firestorm, rc10gt, or a nitro rusty. I will be bashing mostly on a back yard track. durability, speed and handling are important. however it is my first nitro vehicle so I guess an easily maintainable one would be best. any advice is appreciated . thanx
paul.

The Firestorm has been tested and is on the top of the bashers list.It can reach up to 40mph.GT can reach 35mph and is also a fairly good basher. The rusty is the fastest. It can go 50mph.However,its bashing level isn't near the Firestorm or the GT.
Firestorm from me.

Yeah,no kidding! The Firestorm's engine puts a lot of abuse on those tire treads!
Any 2wd will give newbies a hard time at first, but,in the 7 months I've owned my Firestorm,I can control it as good as any 4wd.

The legendary RC10GT and GT2 may not be the fastest on the street but on the track, it is certainly a different story. I think you made the right decision with the Firestorm, as it is not a racer but more of a basher.
