well i think it might be a kioritz? pull start is on the back of it and the muffler bolts on-dunnoi may just get it cause it really is almost perfect for rc airplane use-just need a prop hub really.

I have converted a McCullogh 28cc trimmer engine. A unique feature is that the muffler is held on by a spring. It's a good running engine but heavy. It will go in a 1/4 scale Sopwith Pup, so the weight will be OK in my application. I don't recall what the trimmer model designation was on mine.

I have a 28cc Mac also.

This motor runs very well on Gas-Glow.

the engine he's talking about is a lot different than the 28/32 macs that are more popular, it's closer to 25cc, I have one, but haven't messed with it yet... and I agree, it's possibly a Kioritz, does it have some felt stuff covering the exhaust protector?

don't have pics-not mine yet!!! gotta go 30 miles to get-BUT I can remember the rear pull starter has 3 bolts to hold it on instead of the usual 4 bolt ones you see on backpack blowers and such

I just got rid of 2 of them.If mine where the same they would be the 22-23cc.Bolt pattern on the muffler should be staggered,in other words from corner to corner instead of straight across like the crank runs.Square cylinder.Carb throttle is already a straight shot to the servo. Not to bad running for a small weedie.

If that engine is a Kioritz/Echo it's an older one and is 21.2cc's. These engines run nicely and turn a 15/8 or 16/4
