OK Guys,

As you may or may not know, these are Losi front and rear shock mounts that fit into the area of the lower swing arm where you would ususally install the bottom of the shock. I will have to do some slight modification of the lower swing arm to make them fit, however, I'm wondering how to secure them properly? They have two threaded holes that I should be able to screw into from the bottom. I don't really want to use plain washers, I was thinking of maybe getting a couple of small pieces of CF or alluminium and shaping them to fit flush inside the indentation of the lower side of the swing arm.

The reason for the installation of these on my Kyosho MP7.5 Kanai II is that I'm running 16mm big bore Hong Nor shocks and they rub against the dog bones as you can see in the last picture.

Your thoughts, as always, are highly appreciated.

Thanks

Edit - Here's also a picture of what it's eventually supposed to look like.

Tommy - Why are you using these? Why do you need them? They will push your Arms down lower, and you dog bones will pop out of the diff drive cups. You going to have problems unless you tighten way down on your limiting screws. If they are long enough? Then youll have hardly any suspension travel.

Hmmm...fair nuff. I'm just worried about the dog bone always rubbing against the bottom of the shock...(i know the answer to that one, run smaller diameter shocks..LOL)

Get some 4mm aluminium, angle the edges to fit that slot, drill two 3.5mm holes in each, countersink them, put in some m3 countersunk heads and thread lock them in, then tourqe them down tight.
