I am starting with Electric planes and I like to know that when i connect my Turnigy ESC with the lipo battery it beeps, the frequency an dsound of the beep changes when I turn on the radio or when the motor starts to run. I like to know if it is normal for the ESC to beep. Though the connections seem to be correct as the properller turns in the right direction.

Status: offline 		Actually, it's the motor that's beeping. The ESC can control the motor like a speaker, and it's normal for the ESC to produce tones to indicate various functions. The instructions should indicate what the beeps indicate, either an arming sequence, or a programming mode.

Status: offline 		Thank you for the information. No instruction came with the ESC so I am not sure what to do about it. I have another ESC from Hyperion whose instruction do mention something about these sounds.
Is there any website where I can find how to figure out these sounds and how to respond to them.
