Hi there,

I am starting with Electric planes and I like to know that when i connect my Turnigy ESC with the lipo battery it beeps, the frequency an dsound of the beep changes when I turn on the radio or when the motor starts to run. I like to know if it is normal for the ESC to beep. Though the connections seem to be correct as the properller turns in the right direction.

Thank you

Syed

Actually, it's the motor that's beeping. The ESC can control the motor like a speaker, and it's normal for the ESC to produce tones to indicate various functions. The instructions should indicate what the beeps indicate, either an arming sequence, or a programming mode.

Thank you for the information. No instruction came with the ESC so I am not sure what to do about it. I have another ESC from Hyperion whose instruction do mention something about these sounds.
Is there any website where I can find how to figure out these sounds and how to respond to them.

Thank you

Syed

If you were to post WHICH Turnigy ESC you are using, many of us probably already have the instructions you seek and could send them to you, or post them.

While were at it, I could use the manual for my newly acquired Turnigy Plush 60 and programming card.
