I too have been looking for some talk on this car, A hobby shop owner I talked to said it was turning much faster lap times than the slider (both) stock.

They are cool looking and I wanted one when I saw the pics, but they are kinda expensive for what you are getting.

it's 1:18 scale of the actual 1:1 late model vehicles, just like the 1:5 motorcycles are about the size of a 1:18 car (18R, 18T)

Buddy of mine at work picked up on of these over the weekend. Brought it into work and the thing is pretty awesome. Swamped my MLST and RC18MT in size. I was really surprised on how fast it was. He put a lipo in it and it really screams. He only had a few complaints. Tired on it seem to wear down pretty quick but he was running them on gravel and concrete. He hit something and the front steering was a little sloppy after that. He was running it last night and the diff locked up on him he thinks. Not sure if it was that or the motor. I believe it has the same servo as my MLST so I told him to buy some new gears. Other than that it is a pretty sweet ride. Like every other RC car, gott put a little money into it to get ir running right

I think its about like the Mini-T, the front bumper protects it some so its not quite as bad. My dad has one and we were racing ona dirt oval. I had a RC18T and I took out the front diff and CVD's. Comparing the two the Late Model is way looser even with the big pins in the back. RC18T handle really good as a 2wd, I was impressed. You'd have to slowly accelerate out of the corners but entering them you'd think it was still 4wd.
