Anyone got one of these? Been looking for a cheap truck that'll run good but I can't find any reviews on these. Are they any good or will I be buying parts every time I run it?

This is an HSP vehicle, Exceed doesnt really make it, they buy it from HSP and simply put their names and stickes on it (what is called "rebadging" .

I personally would not suggest it, but if you do get it, there is an Exceed forum. Also, this very same HSP RC is also resold by Redcat & Himoto (each of these have their own forums as well). Of course, Himoto and Redcat named this RC a different name and put their own stickers on them. So, whether you get it from Exceed, Himoto, or Redcat, it is the same vehicle (some very minor differences). You can even buy parts from the other reseller and they will fit (makes maintenance & upgrades very easy, afterall, they all buy from HSP).

Correct me if I am wrong, I am guessing you are a beginner or have not been into RCs for a long time. If you are a beginner, I would suggest you get an electric RC first. Once you learn and become accustomed to fixing & tinjkering with the chassis and suspension, then I would suggest you take the plunge into nitro. Nitro engines require a bit more tinkering than electrics.

If you do get the Tectonic (or the HSP equivalent from Redcat or Himoto), you can go to their forums and they can tell you everything about it. Those folks are pretty hardcore HSP fans (particularly the Himoto & Redcat guys) and they can help you with everything about this RC.

Thanks for the reply. Not new to nitro at all. Trucks sure, but I've ran boats and planes for a while. Little tired of the two because of the need for space or water and am looking for something around the house if you know what I mean

It's a great truck plus most parts from Kyosho mp7.5 fit it.
