Is this for a Savage X? If so, I like the RC-Solutions cages. I haven't used one myself, but in videos and reviews they seem great.

Never owned one but from what I've heard from those that have, it makes the truck even more top heavy than it already is and makes it impossible to work on the truck with it on. There was something about the mounts not being the most solid also I believe.

The best cage I've ever seen was home made, made of delrin bars heated up and bent to make the cage. The delrin is lightweight and flexible enough that it will take allot of abuse and never break. Easier to make than it looks.

Thats not my savage but yes it is a savage. The thing on the cooling head is to keep it warm in cold temps Im guessing and the tank up fron is the mid tank mod. Thats a highly modified truck made for some serious abuse. The owner was using it to race and was placing first on many occasions.
