RE: Best Clutch Bearings.?
personally i would say avid revolution bearings but they are not available at amain(http://www.avidrc.com/shop/?action=category&id=1)
what size are you looking for? i think amain only has protek and tko bearings |
RE: Best Clutch Bearings.?
Thanks
Size would be 5x10mm Saw a few ceramic bearings, are they worth it.? Im using HoBao Clutch Bearings at the moment, and they last approx half a gallon... I always change them out before a race, and after a race.. Im spending a small fortune in these bearings [&:]. |

i find the "Ultimate Racing" ceramics last a VERY long time ;)

ceramic is the way to go, less friction means better preformance, and dont heat up as much.

Giving the Avid's a try too.
Got 10 of the Standard Revolutions, and 4 of the Ceramic Metal bearings in my Cart. Those fine.? |

I buy the $10 tube of 10 protek bearings at amain. They last anywhere from 1 gallon to 2. Then I change them out. Cheap insurance.
They also have 5 ceramic bearings for $10. I have learned that all bearings are pretty much the same. If you dont set up your clutch right you will eat bearings no matter what. |

i've seen the ae bearings last 2 gallons. i've been using the racers edge or panther $10 sleeve and they go about every half gallon no matter how i set up the clutch, the ae's still kickin' though.
