I'm running the optional 49tooth spur gear and it works really good for both torque and speed i noticed. im also using the original savage clutch bell. but i wanna get a clutch bell that will improve the performance so im confused as to what amount of teeth would be good for a 49 tooth if anyone has experience with them....thankls

If you are having good luck the way you are running, just match your current bell. If you want a little more speed and a little less power, go up a tooth. If you need less speed and want a little more power, go down a tooth. Up would be 13 to 14, down would be 14 to 13. A tooth does not sound like a lot, but it add up in a hurry. For example a 14 bell on your 49 is a 3.5 ratio, or one rotation of the transmission shaft for every 3.5 rotations of the crank shaft. A 13 would be a 3.77. BB

I think the reds are no gos, as you do not have enough room to run a 52 and a 20, the 13 and 47 must not come close enough together. I am not sure what the blues are. BB

That chart will work, but you also have to consider engine size and power also
