The hole on V4 shaft B (EK1-0557) is higher then the one on the V3 shaft (EK1-0316). So can I use the V3 shaft B on my V4? Does it lower my V4 performance?

Oh, fine, just fine ... bring up a question that's gonna make me want to go look at all mine just to see the difference I have several v3 & v4's & never really paid much attention to them. I've gotten spares & have even converted a v3 to use a v4 CF tail boom, but not sure which version they were for.

Apparently the difference isn't too drastic, since all mine seem to fly just fine. I imagine that some adjustment to the servo linkages would be needed to level the swashplate when swapping out one for the other.
