Upgrade to new servos if you want. The jR 650s are what I have and they are amazing. I would suggest that you call up Horizon and talk to them and they'll tell you to send th servos in for replacement. They have a 3 year warranty so send them in and DEMAND for a replacement. They more often than not replace without any questions. They have two 650s and a 590 of mine with them right now. I ruined all 3 myself becaus I accidentally plugged in teh battery plug into the receiver the wrong way and gave the servos reverse voltage.

Chances are that if both servos went then your adjustments are out. You endpoints need to be set right or it wont matter what servo you have they will burn up.

i changed out my two servos to a single jr9100, the only problem is that i am breaking the steering rod that connects the left & right steering arms. my servo saver is on & my end points are set correctly, does anyone know if they make a better rod than the stock one??

Single Servo Won't work well in the LST2........(No matter what Steering link you use) And Firemedic on LSTforums Makes and Sell's the BAC Steering Links....

You can also use thick piano wire. I am currently running that stuff and it is stronger than the bac link that a friend of mine has.

bada$$ makes them (I am not sure if I would get kicked if I actually spelled it out, even though it is a company ) they are like 20$, which is really expensive. The servos should last a long time, I have run mine since I bought my Aft in March 07. The throttle servos dont last though.

I'm using hitec 5625mg digitals in mine, and love them. Can't remember specs right off hand, but they are fast and strong and reasonably priced.
