Can the savage XL do wheelie? I don't see any video anywhere that show xl does wheelie. After I have the car tuned by pro at the hobby shop and it still can't do wheelie.

Any savage can pull a wheelie...even a 21 with proper gearing. The XL you saw at your lhs was geared for high speed and not torque.

Even running rich on the low end, mine has no trouble doing wheelies in grass. I would say something is not right. BB

Your engine is not yet fully broken in. It only has been through the initial break-in and you are at a point between intial break-in and fully broken in. You still have a little more running in to do (like 4 tanks more I guess). Once you are fully broken in, you can lean for best performance & best lube (not too rich, not too lean). This is when the K5.9 will come to life, it will make its best torque at about 18000-25000RPM. This is the RPM range where you will flip the XL so easily.

Could be the slipper is set to loose or got loose from running. I like to run mine tightened all the way.
