Fellas..

Have any of you used the power supply for the AccuCycle Elite as a AC power source for the EFlite lipo charger that comes with the Blade 400? I tried it last night and couldn't get the Eflite charge to power up.. It doesn't make sense though, the accucycle power supply has an output of 14.5 Volts at 2.5Amps.. I think that the B400 charger will take up to 15Volts.. I tried several ways to connect (alligator clips/bannana clips, and a deans plug that I made to charge my lipos with..) Anyway, no power, no lights.. confusion..?

Yeah, that's what I though.. The Eflite Charger comes with a cable that plugs into the charger, and two aligator clips on the ends.. I'll have to try it again, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out why it wasn't working.. I even tried a different power outlet figuring that my power outlet must have been "off" I was so sure that it would work!

Can't you use the Accu-Cycle Elite to charge your 400 batts ? Or do you just have the power supply ? Just curious... I thought maybe the Accu-Cycle would perform better for you than the stock charger that came with the unit...

Anyway, good luck to ya...

Yeah, I have the AccuCycle and I've been charging 2 lipos on it for 2 years now.. It works fine and although it doesn't have a "balance" feature, I put my 2 batteries on a friends balancer to see how "whacked" they had gotten.. They were both nearly perfect.. I was really surprised.. The accu cycle will charge the eflite battery just fine, I just wanted to be able to use the balancer every once in a while to be sure it hadn't gone nuts on me..

There are some cheap external balancers out there that you could hook up to the Accucycle charger. I use two FlightPower balancers on my Accucycle charger and charge two batteries at once. Even though your batteries are fine now in time the balance is going to get worse. And if one cell gets over 4.2V you are gettting in the area of it lighting on fire or exploding. And the stock E-Flite charger will never fully charge the battery with my experience on the CX and CPP chargers.

Geardaddys~

If anything get a "Blinky" for like $25.00 bucks, and it will balance em for ya while using the Accu-Cycle. I have the Common Sense version and it works great when I do use my Accu-Cycle. It fits great for my E-Flight batts and Air-Thunder among many more. For the Thunder Power packs you need an adapter which is only a few bucks...Until I get a good balancer for my Thunder Power charger I've been balancing my lipo's with the blinky for all my heli's for awhile now...

Here it is http://www.helidirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=116_538&products_id=6927

Hope this helps,

Jeff
