Status: offline 		hi guys, im trying to get the losi eight clutch bell to work, when i tighten the clutch bell end screw it stops the bell from spinning, i have one shim behind the rear larger clutch bell bearing, its like the shaft on the os speed is too short i have zero play. can anyone help? anybody had this problem with this car and engine set up? it works fine with my novarossi motor.

Status: offline 		I believe the crank is the same size as the VZB VSPEC... I have no problems with the clutch bell... Maybe you are using the wrong collet? Are you using the Losi one or the O.S. one? You may also need to tighten down the flywheel a little better... you can remove the shim behind the bearing as well.. The bearing dont last very long anyways... good luck

Status: offline 		First of all, are you using the stock equipment?
If so, you should be able to make it work i run an O.S SPEED engine in my 8 with the stock clutch no problem.
make sure your flywheel is properly seated and tightened on the brass cone, i run 2 shims behind the larger bearing and one on thefront screw.
I just verified, the O.S and Novarossi have the same shaft link, 29.5mm make sure the shim in front of the clutch bell is in place before you tighten it.
