I am not sure what you mean, the screws? to mount the servo or get the servo saver screwed onto the servo spline? just guessing, you need an 18t servo saver kit for the hs65 servo for sure with these.. did you get one?

Well it seems that I now own an 18t I never knew about. I guess webb posted this on my accout, but dont know how. Guess I did not log out last time that I came to this site with his computer is the only thing I can come up with?

To pellin_out: The screws that come with the HS65 servo saver kit are too big in diameter. And the screw that is in the servo when new out of the box is too short. Once you mount the saver to the servo and put the screw back in the screw will not reach the threds. You have to tap the hole out to a 2.5mm like nixhex32 said. The stock hole is 2.2mm. All of the screws that come with the HS65 kit are 2.5mm. I totaly agree with you that my buddy who started this thred was a little vague on the question.

ok, the hitec hs65 servo saver kit for the rc18 has the correct screws in it to hold the whole apparatus (lobe + c-spring + spline cover) onto the servo.. those screws are the correct diameter and length.. did you get that servo saver kit?

Yep, got the hs65 kit. Apparently there are quite a few of the kits that have the wrong size screws with them. I have spoken to a few different people here in dallas as well as a few hobby shops, and they all have the same problem. All the screws that come with the kit are 2.5 mm not 2.2mm. Where did you get your kit from? One of my friends bought a FT kit and the hs65 servo saver kit comes with it, and the screws were 2.5mm. Then another friend of mine, who posted this thread under my name bought the hs65 kit from a lhs and it also had 2.5mm screws. I am thinking that quite kits went out with the wrong size screws.
