Well, after getting my RX7 body out of the postman's hands, I tear it open!

I find that the holes are not drilled, to my TT-01... Not everything is made for you!

Anywho, I was thinking on how to drill specific holes, for the TT-01...

It's already painted, and decalled, so, I can just mark ontop of the clear lexan... What do you guys do!?

Cut the body out. use whiteout or a paint pen and mark the top of the body post. set the body on (lined up straight) the car touching the post. remove, see your marks and drill

line the center of the wheel wells over the center of the tires. sometimes it's easier to do the front then the rear. take the rear body post off and mark the front and drill. then put the rears back, attach the front, then do the same on the rear

Yup, I got my holes.. I'm just gonna widen up the holes a bit, so it can get center.

While we're on the subject...

Has anyone found an alternative to body posts + clips? I think I read somewhere that some guy has succeeded in fixing the body to the chassis using Velcro or a similar material, is this a reliable method?

I found the Velchro method to be a litttle unreliable.. one soft hit and the body would go everywhere..
