Wouldn't thinking for yourself and acting as a community be the opposite? If everyone agrees then you are thinking the same.

I understand what you are saying, but people living in excess fuel the economy. If no one bought new tvs, new cars, new houses, new clothes, new rc cars, go to the movies, eat out, etc we would be in an ever bigger economic funk.

Status: offline 		I thought that when I wrote it, but just because you act with the interest of the community dosnt mean you have to agree with everything. Look at your family, you can disagree with a member but you still wouldnt do something to harm the unit.

I see what your saying about the economy but just like with everything else in life there has to be balance. Its nothing wrong with buying new tv's, going to the movies etc; but a Hummer I think thats seriously an issue with the person to need something like that. Tractor trailers have a purpose, a big frickin H2 most likely dosnt and it can probably do almost the same damage.

I agree with you that most SUV's are pointless and an over indulgance. But it will never change, its also no different than buying 30K + luxury cars too. Very few need more than a focus or a civic.

I definatly think people should show a little more financial responsibility, 75% of the country is in debt up to their eye balls and its just sad. People are insane buying 300K houses, two 30K cars and only making 75K combined. People need to live within their means, but consumer spending is important but people do need to be more responsible.

The mortgage crisis and impending credit card fiasco is a direct result of this. People in general are dumb and buy stuff they cant afford, people take out loans on jet skis, motorcycles, secondary vehicles, TVs, etc. Imo if you cant afford to pay cash for toys you cant afford to have them.

Status: offline 		Thanks you spelled out my point better than I did. Now even though I think people over indulge with all the excess, I will never ride in one of those ity bitty cars unless all SUV's where off the road. Thats scary if they even bump you.

Status: offline 		well, if they releaced that ionizer fuel injection, you can have both 200horses and 80mpg.

all they have to do is compress the gas at 1000psi, inject it and it is so ionized, that almost all of the fuel is burnt.

but this tech will ruin many car companys.


suv's are usless and should be removed from the market, and replace them with large station wagons.
