ORIGINAL: sfar785 i haven't upgraded anything aluminum yet, i have a lot of stuff on my upgrade list that's gonna be added in the next few weeks. I would steer clear of alloy stuff except for c-hubs and steering knuckles. those are nice in alloy but the rest of the stuff I have tried just makes the car heavier and it bends, gets nicked up easily and then looks bad.. not to mention it's expensive also.. real useful upgrades on my car were alloy c-hubs + steering knuckles, teflon bearing kit, MIP CVDs all the way around (with a stock motor, you won't need that, but they are nice none the less), DP draglink, gear cover.. delrin 55t spur.. hitec hs-65mg servo.. AE titanium turnbuckle kit.. 3racing 5 spoke wheel/tire set.. 3racing shocks (the BEST shocks for all rc18 series imo). I think that's a good list. edit: and make sure you keep those diffs adjusted well.. they will last you a long time. about 1/4 turn off full tight seems to be a good setting.
