hey guys,

i'm torn between hopping up either my revo or my tmaxx with all allunium parts and all that pretty stuff or buying a new radio that will work both my trucks and any other future trucks that i will buy.. what would you do first?? radio or hop ups??

next question,,, is this a decent radio? now my revo has a reverse.. will this radio be able to be programed so i can still use the reverse..thx,,,jake

i'm not sure if i want this radio or a spectrum dx3.. for those of you that own either of these radios how do you like them.. any ideas of which one is better? the dx3r is just a little bit expensive.. i was even thinking of buying a baja monster truck because i hear that they are pretty decent radios that come with that truck.. decisions/decisions:}:}

get the radio
imo, most aluminum hop-ups are a waste of time and money

the radio will preform great for you for years
with however many vehicles you end up with

Please dont ruin the truck by adding a bunch of shelf queen aluminum. It will make your truck heavy and you will never get your money back. Only add aluminum where needed.That radio will work. Anything that has a 3 channel will work.

cool,,thx for the replies so far.. i think the radio should be my next investment even though my stock radios work fine.. but it would be nice not having to take 2 or more radios with me when i go out.. i think i am pretty much sold on the futaba fast system.. my lhs carries it for 189 dollars and it come s with 1 rx. then the other rx i would need for my other truck is about 90 bucks for a total of about 270 dollars.

the spectrum dx3 i was looking at cost 250 dollars and comes with 2 rx's. so for about 20 bucks less i could get the spectrum. i know they are both good radios so now i have to decide which is best.. any thoughts on that? thx,,jake

futaba would be my choice
they've been around forever and always make a quality product
