Does any know of a transmission upgrade to change the 2nd and 3rd gear clutches to the "pawl" type that Traxxas and most other companies use? The shifts are very sloppy and you can't tell if it's going int third while driving. Also the hotter the truck gest the more they slip. Just to be clear, these are the adjustable clutches that cause the truck to shift. If anyone knows of an upgrade or a way to mod these to the paul type please let me know.

I'm not getting 3rd in my GST. So I took the 3rd gear clutch shoes out and drilled 2 holes per shoe, added wieght from cut off 4mm screws, epoxy or jb weld in place and covered the side that shows when in the bell with teflon. Others have done this and it has worked for them. Others say that you just don't know what your doing when tuneing your shift points. I'm still looking for carbon fiber sheets or strands to finish mine, think it would be stronger since I drilled a hole to the side a little to much.

In the cen forum you'll find more info and pictures...

did that work for you? I know how to set the shift points and you can see it shifting when holding the truck off the ground and accelerating but when its on the ground the shift is so week you cant tell if its going in. I want a nice positive shift like a Revo. I'll check out the cen forum. Thanks for thr input.
