Does this thing really live up to the hype? I've been doing alot of searching trying to find one person who said something similar to "I have it, and it made a big difference. I won't use anything else!" Ok so maybe finding something that enthusiastic may be hard to find, but so far I've just seen people saying things like "get the buku". Nothing definitive.

Could someone who owns one please tell me your experience with it? What engine do you run it with?

I bought one on Thursday and it should arrive this week but I'd just like to hear what you guys think.

I actually have it for my revo. Its a great pipe, just a little costly and requires a bit more work to get it tuned with the plug. Since your running a o.s 21tm in your revo, Dave over at buku should of set your pipe up for that motor. The internals are the same basic settings for the 3.3 as for the o.s 21tm's. So that pretty much eliminates any extra internal tunning and maybe just some spring adjustment but thats it.

The power is great over the stock and chrome resonators. If you broke your o.s in pretty well, it should turn your revo into a wheelie machine. Probably a good idea to keep an eye on the slipper clutch, it kicks the lowend power up a good notch. Its like your on the pipe through the whole rpm band.

If your going to stay with the o.s motor, or any small block engine and dont mind the little bit extra involved in tunning, then I would say you made a great investment.

My engine was properly broken in and I've got her tuned and running pretty well with the resonator. The Buku that I bought I found on eBay (not a small feat) and so it's hard to say what springs will be in it when it arrives. I got a pretty good deal on it so I'm pretty stoked to see how it works, and am ready for the tuning headaches.

I have had the Buku on my OS 18tm for almost half a gallon and it has been GREAT! I can run fairly rich (220-230) and have great power and the best part is I have found my temps to stay rock solid from full to almost empty. I decided to throw in my 3.3 that Traxxas rebuilt for me almost a year ago this past weekend and I almost have it broke-in. I can't wait to throw the Buku on it and see what happens.

Just make sure you feel comfortable tuning your engine and you will, without a doubt, be impressed. Another nice thing is if you have any questions or problems just either call or email Dave and he'll help you out no questions asked. Just follow the instructions...it's fairly straightforward and not difficult at all once you grasp the concept how the pipe works.

I have run mine with the stock 3.3 and it really made a difference. I have just put in an rb 523 and will run it with the pipe that comes with the kit. So, if anyone wants a deal on a buku used less than 6 months, let me know. It is a great pipe.

PM'd you Fish Killa. I didn't mean to hijack the thread to sell something. It's a great pipe, though. I love the throaty growl it has better than the high pitched whine that the stock pipe has.
