Ok, so im thinking about buying a team losi mini T for my girlfriend. I just want something that she can drive around and keep herself busy with while I drive my xxx-nt. I would like it to come rtr with a charger and batts included. Im thinking about buying used and have been looking on RCU and ebay. I was just wondering what I should watch out for while buying a used mini T? Are there certain areas such as the motors that I need to pay special attention to? And how long do these electric motors last? Basically I want to know what kind of questions you guys would ask the seller before buying used?
Sorry for all the questions but hopefully you guys can help me out, I really dont want to get taken while buying..
Thanks!!!!!

i'm gonna agree with Andrew on this one, for the price of both trucks, the Mini-T wins hands down. You can find a Mini-T used and RTR for around $90 on eBay. If you were to look at the 18T, they're around $150+ used and that might be a little too much for his g/f to just play with.

You can get a re-furb RC18T from AE for $130...
I have a Mini-T and the only upgrade that you NEED for durability is a bulkhead brace. Once I got mine I was hardly ever breaking anything after months of 10+ foot jumps.
I'm getting a RC18T when I get back from vaacation so in about 3 weeks I'll be able to do a head to head review hopefully I'll be able to get some video.

Thanks for all the replys everyone!!! How much do you all think it would be if I decided to go new? Including a decent set of batts and a charger? And are there a lot of differences between the RC18T and the mini T?

new 18T's are $180+ new and the Mini-T is $90 new but you'll NEED a battery pack for it considering it comes stock with only a battery holder for "AA" batteries. The Mini-T is more of a "fun" truck to where the 18T's are more of a "race ready" truck. As far as batteries, there's all sorts of batteries and chargers from low-high prices.
