Hey guys, I finnaly order a couple mini-t's for me and my brother to drive around the house during the winter months. And I saw sets of foam tire meant for carpet
racing. Now I was really interested as they looked rather fun. But my question is, will they be grippy or slippery on a hardwood and tile flooring? They come either in
either soft or hard foam. So which of the two would be more slippery?

Thanks a bunch!

I had the mini t foams on mine and if i can remember right, they did slide alot on tile and hardwood. But was great on pavement and asphalt. And they are great on plywood.

rubber on front and foam on rear will make for excellent drift action on hard floors and tile

If you put traction compound on them they will work fine on the hardwood floor

Yes you could use the traction compound but i would say get the street meat tires for the front and back and just use those instead of messing with different traction compounds. Even the stock tires work great on tile and hardwood floors. And they dont leave any marks on the floor if that is what you are worried about.

if you are talking aobut wood you would buy at home depote (or hardwood that is posished like in your house) they it will work poorly, i suggest getting some tires ment for pavment (foams will get chewwed up easly on ashfault)
