In anticipation of questions...

The truck is an FG Monster Beetle Pro, 26cc, 4hp (that's 4 REAL hp for you nitro guys ), rear wheel drive, 1/5th scale, 25lbs/12kilos. Has a top speed around 45mph, but is made for torque.

The buggy is the newly released Smartech Thunderbolt, with a special 23cc race tuned engine, 4wd, 1/5th scale, 25lb/12kilos. Top speed around 50mph, but less oomph than the FG.

Jumping these things is NOTHING like jumping a nitro, it's a lot more difficult (very little air control), and a lot more expensive if you get it wrong (FG has over $2000 in it). I'm building confidence and getting the technique down, so they will get bigger and better.

This location is North Athens, Greece, and the music is Joe Satriani - The Extremist. Enjoy... don't forget to watch in high quality (click link under vid. )

Hopefully people will see just how fun these 1/5s are now - far more thrilling.

It's about time somebody had some good music in their video. Joe Satriani is GREAT!

Gah! Everytime I watch one of your FG videos Foxy makes me want to buy one. Maybe sell the KM Baja and buy a FG. Nice vid!

Thanks, it is great fun, but very difficult to control with all that power and RWD. Still, what's life without challenges!
