WILLY got burned !!!
Some people can't wait for a good thing and love to complain...

Sad,,,,

Well.... WILLY has always done me right... sometimes slow due to his main income producing job, and job travels... but always done me right! I will miss having him as an IMPACT DEALER...

Impact terminating Willy as their N.A. dealer stinks . He spends months reworking their TU unit and when he comes up with a durable , quality product for Impact they give him the boot as a thank you . If Impact releases a new and improved TU unit i'll be curious to see how closely it matches what Willy finally came up with . Yea , sure , screwing someone over may be nothing personal - " it's just business " - but from an ethical standpoint it just stinks . While it's a longshot i can only hope Impact comes to their senses and sticks with Willy - and gives credit where credit is due . - A.P.

That's really bad. Willy's a good person, and the fact that he personally check and fix (if needed) every Impact TU he sells, say a lot about the guy.

In January I placed two orders with Willy. FINALLY received the orders in SIX WEEKS. Toward the end of that time I couldn't get in contact with him by email.

In February, due to me being impressed with Impact parts, I decided to order more parts.

This time I ordered from ETO Armor. They had all the Impact parts in stock and more. Received my first order in FOUR DAYS! Same for the next FIVE ORDERS! Nine Impact TUs, eight Impact track sets, four M4 idlers, four M4 periscope covers, etc. Received'em all in four business (USPS) days from ordering. And ETO customer support is GREAT (for the one question I had; my bad...)

I've read how Willy has a 'real job' but when an old retired guy orders a few hundred dollars of parts, from a guy he's not 'buddies' with, he kinda expects a 'business' to do faster shipping.

I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY with Impact products and ETO Armor and am going to STICK WITH'EM!!

The ones from ETO aren't "willy'd" (reworked), and they're a business whos first thought is making money - willy does it on the side as part of expanding and supporting the hobby, has a real job, and does great things!!

Be interesting if people who were satisfied with Willy's sales were to contact Impact and tell them they will no longer buy their products and see what that does.

Yeah, so if I were a Ford (Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, etc) dealer who was contracted by the company to sell that companie's product, then after I RECEIVED that product, I put it in my shop to 'make it better', then AFTER I'M done with the product, the MANUFACTURER'S NAME is STILL ON IT.

SOOO, IF anything goes WRONG with the modified product, then WHO is going to be BLAMED??

Sure, Willy is a heck of a 'engineer' and modifier, but Impact sells a product to customers without expecting a 'middle man' modification which puts Impact's NAME and REPUTATION in jeopardy.

As I said, I have nine Impact trans and haven't had any problems. But if I did and someone had 'modified' it, the manufacturer's warranty should NOT be expected to be valid.

I'm sure Willy will be able to buy Impact TUs and modify'em and sell'em to those who want'em.

But, as I said, I'm just a 'dirt pounder' and not a 'battler'. So I'm happy with the stock ETO/Impact products.
