I just put on a set of max life shoes with mugen 1.0mm springs, but have yet to run the truck. At first glance, the shoes look real nice and of superior quality. They have a built in ridge that prevents clutch drag as the shoe wears down, which is nice. Ill report back once i give em hell.

Yup this is my setup and it works perfectly. The mugen 1.0mm springs will allow the clutch shoes to deploy not to early, but right in the power band (RPM) for these engines (normally). The mugen 1.1mm will deploy the clutch shoes even higher RPM sometimes beyond the power band. The max life shoes lockup well, and wear is good.
Oh Mugen springs seem to handle heat well and keep their memory longer. This is just what I've notice, I've been running the Mugen springs for over a year now.
